2019 has been an interesting yet rewarding year for some of us – and a devastating and turmoil year for others. South Africa has faced many challenges which will take time to see what the actual end result entails, however, this remains to cause much uncertainty for the international investment and finance community. We continue and encourage South African investors to evaluate their options offshore.
Hong Kong has suffered severely from protest and public unrest and violence the past 4 months, the first time in 38 years, which has also caused a major disinvestment in the particular administrative region and we have seen many of our counterparts and peers relocated including ourselves and several mainstream institutions, which are all now based in a more secure environment, Singapore.
On the upside, we are delighted to report a last quarterly positive growth of 19% for MedBond Organisation Vietnam 🇻🇳 and MedFx Vietnam 🇻🇳. We continue to build on our foundation and principals to expand gradually whilst still managing the growth to risk ratio and thereby maintaining solid solvency and capital adequacy ratio. We are very proud and thankful for all our Vietnamese Clients, Investors and Customers alike and also our partners in Ha Noi.
Finally, we are very proud of our last quarterly positive growth of 7% market growth in North America, and we are extremely excited to announce that we have entered our final roll-out phase for North America and the Caribbean and that apart from Atlanta and New York we have expanded our Florida operations, and are now established in both Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter. We are further proud to announce that we are also established now in St. Vincent & the Grenadines. We are also very thankful and excited to further grow and expand our partnership with Lombard International and we would like to thank them for there continued support throughout 2019.
